I just found out lately that magma explosion has 6 targets at level 1 (around 1200 damage on mobs), so you may get it instead of the frost incantation which may hassle you because it requires DCC and DCC requires incineration. and in the case of my lvl5 revitalize, it prevents…Ĭomment by mark gonzaga (name ko sa ran ay =EMODALE= sa alab.) - Septem 9:55 pm Question time!!!, in the case of a shaman attack, should i get amplified effect? does serpents venom have an area of effect?is it right to get enhanced vampiric attack? and what do you mean by “master at level 10?” what kind of level do you mean? is it a must to have berserk aura? its just that it’s not for the whole party, its like the arcane recovery, buffing one by one… oh yea. and they’re just the same w/ FI, 3 targets at lvl 1… ^^ have fun… oh ya, sorry if this is out of the topic “FS shaman”… to get one, you must have a skill dragon of cold icicle(1 target only, but can easily freeze an enemy), which has a skill level of 2 (to get frost incantation), but, to get dragon cold icicle, you must have incineration level 2( i think)… and thats it!!! no need to learn other skills… but at level 1, frost incantation only has 3 targets, if you’re contented with that, then let your frost incantation remain as lvl 1, but if you want 4 targets, have to make it lvl 3(as far as i remember)…why i like frost incantation better than gaia strike? well, 2 reasons… This is my suggestion for shamans who are very supportive and want to have at least few attacks, this is only based on my experience, if you want to have an area of effect attack, i suggest (remember, based on experience) that you get a frost incantation( for me, one of the best attacks before lvl 70). 
Heaven’s Treatment – Master at level 10 (Party heal, a must have).Revitalize – Level 7 (Prevents Poison at level 7 no need to master).Enchaned Vampiric Attack – NA (Spear Guardian is better).Arcane Recovery – NA (MP or mana point regenerator, can recover MP on items).Fortify – Master at level 10 (Gives 10% DEF, results are best seen on high DEF characters).Sacrificial Ritual – Level 3 (Serves as a prerequisite for your Heaven’s Treatment skill).Breath of Life – Level 4 (Self-heal, can recover HP on items).(NOTE: This is the part where I scavenged almost every post to get reliable data XP. Imagine this: 100DEX = 10DEF not rewarding isn’t it? VIT boosts up your HP by 3 every point(a 1:3 ratio).ĭEX(dexterity) only boosts up your DEF(defense) by 1 by 10 DEX(a 10:1 ratio) so it only pumps up your DEF only a little bit. Upon getting at least 160 POW to master the Gift of Life skill, pump up your VIT(vitality) next to boost up your HP(hit points) more. Levels …-… : (NOTE: Sorry I don’t know the exact level to master the skill: Gift of Life)
(This is found at the POW skills tab in your skill window). Upon reaching this level bracket you should allocate your remaining stat points to POW(power) or STR(strength) to get the skill Gift of Life. This is easy 😛 because all you need to do is pump up all those stats to INT or in your skill window: SPI so that you could get all the skills needed by an FS without worrying about the required stat points.

My very own character in RAN is also a shaman that I aspire to be a full support type. I usually don’t post in forums (This is actually my first) but because of the jumbled up topics in this forum I thought of making my own compilation of the posts in this forum.
